- アカネ科 【属名】ペンタス属 pentas 30～50種があり、アフリカ・マダガスカルに分布する。草本または低木。星形の5弁花が集まって咲く。

- アカネ科 クササンタンカ star cluster; Egyptian star-cluster 温室向き常緑小低木。夏～秋ピンクの球状に密生した花をつける。
